How to make a Jon Snow Cone

This recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next Game of Thrones Party.

You will need:

  • 10 cubic feet of fresh snow
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 bottle vodka
  • 15 Snocone Papers
  • 1 medium size dagger

This recipe is all about the preparation and the quality of the snow. If you skimp on the snow the flavor will be lacking.  We get our snow shipped in from Austria.

Step 1:

Spread the snow evenly on the ground to a depth of 2 inches.  Be sure to use a clean shovel to avoid any contamination. At this point you will want to inspect for and remove any yellow portions.

Step 2:

Clean your dagger. Use hot water and an industrial strength dish soap.

Step 3:

Prepare your Jon Snow.  Whomever you pick to play the part of Jon Snow should be very clean; have them shower before the party if possible.  If like me, you prefer to find a hairy person off the street, you may want to hose them off yourself before dressing them like a crow.

Jon Snow - Game of Thrones

Give the bottle of vodka to your Jon Snow and encourage him to 'CHUG'.

Step 4:

Now it's time for the main event. Have your Jon Snow stand (have some guest hold him up if he is too drunk to stand) in front of your snow. Form a single line behind Jon Snow and have each of your guest take a turn stabbing him in the upper chest. For best results make sure your guests stab all over the body, trying not to concentrate in one area.

Once Jon Snow falls to the ground, lay him on the snow and let it marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 5:

Now just scoop up the bloody snow in your snocone papers and enjoy. Have some sugar on hand in case some of your guests get a sweet tooth.
